The Royal Book of Oz
When Professor Wogglebug observes that the Scarecrow has no family tree, the Scarecrow decides to prove the Professor wrong. He returns to his cornfield, and discovers that the pole that he was on is actually a magic bean pole. He falls down into the earth and makes his way to the Silver Island. There he is proclaimed the re-created Emperor Chang Wang Woe.. He is not allowed to leave and is about to be transformed into the real Chang Wang Woe when some of his friends save him.
